After all of that camDown is the maximum in security for you and your loved ones and that's no joke!
"Thank You for your service" Ever say it? Do you really mean it when you do?
There was a time when men went to war for conquest and glory. We grew out of that...or did we? People are people everywhere around the world. There are good guys and bad guys ...benevolent people and people with evil intent. That's why we still have armies, even after fighting the "War to end all Wars".
THE GREAT WAR
World War I – known at the time as “The Great War” - officially ended when the Treaty of Versailles was signed on June 28, 1919, in the Palace of Versailles outside the town of Versailles, France. However, fighting ceased seven months earlier when an armistice, or temporary cessation of hostilities, between the Allied nations and Germany went into effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. For that reason, November 11, 1918, is generally regarded as the end of “the war to end all wars.”
In 1938, November 11th was designated as Armistice Day, a Legal Holiday. Then in 1954, Congress, at the urging of the veteran's service organizations, amended the Act of 1938 by striking out the word "Armistice" and inserting in its place the word 'Veterans".... a celebration to honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.
Let's be honest, we haven't always done right by our Veterans. But we seem to be trying harder which takes us to Saturday, November 20th from 10: 00 AM to 2: 00 PM at the Yakima Convention Center, 10 N. 8th St, Yakima
